A Day of Practice: Learning from the Wisdom of Thich Nhat Hanh

I’m pleased to announce that I will be leading a live, interactive, online “Day of Practice” viaSangha Live on 16th April at 7-10am PT / 10am-1pm ET / 3-6pm BST / 4-7pm CEST.

This 3-hour online event includes periods of sustained sitting practice interspersed with dharma teachings, mindfulness activities, an interactive Q&A period with me, and more. For more info and to register here.

We will specifically be exploring Learning from the Wisdom of Thich Nhat Hanh. Kaira Jewel will share personal stories of practicing Thay’s teachings of personal and collective transformation in her own life and how she learned to touch true happiness and heal suffering because of them. The day is grounded in practices that help us to transform suffering and live with more ease and joy: Thich Nhat Hanh’s unique style of guided meditation, including ‘pebble meditation’ created for children that those of any age can enjoy, walking mindfully, singing, a laying down practice of resting the body, known as Deep Relaxation, the Ten Mindful Movements, a Tai-Chi inspired practice which he taught, and time for group sharing and questions as well.
